I think this should be broadcasted loud and clear and sound the alarm that many of men who shave can get a really cheap deal on blades. I think my blades run about 27p and at that price only use them four times before switching them out. Some people have been able to get 6-8 shaves from them.

Yes, I've tried a couple of times on here but almost no one's interested. E.g.

P.S. I pay less than that for quality blades on ebay, more like 10p each.

I know this is an old thread that has been bumped by the previous poster, but I just wanted to say I bought my DH one of the above as a present due to the above post and it works! In the past 3 years, I can count on one hand how many times he's needed to buy some new blades. Previously he was getting through blades every few weeks. I've recommended this before on the Christmas board for those who have hard to buy for adult male relatives.

Totally agree. I bought one after seeing it recommended either on this thread or another. OH was changing blades every Monday. They now last about 4 months! Has saved a fortune.

I tried double edged with different razors and blades, cut my face very badly and went back to Gillette Mach 3 that I've used for years. Tried newer razors from Wilkinson Sword and Gillette but I cannot do better than Mach 3. I also like the blue indicator strip on the Mach 3 cartridge lube strip; When that disappears I change the cartridge blade. I couple it with Real Shaving Company Sensitive Shave Cream and get a perfect shave every time.
