to late and still to expensive, I've also seen better Uturns than that, if you are going to Uturn, you need to accept you got it wrong, not sounding like they are only uturning because people are to stupid to realise what they were being offered.0

I have to agree, they would have been better admitting they got it wrong, but hey it's better than nothing.0 -
Own 360, PS3 and Wii... only next-gen we have down as a definite buy is the PS4. If the One drops in price sufficiently and attracts stuff as console exclusives we're definitely wanting to play (sorry but we can live without yet another Halo) then perhaps we'll pick it up at some point in the future - but everything cross console's been bought in PS3 format for a good while.Little miracle born April 2012, 33 weeks gestation and a little toughie!0

Just told the OH about the uturn! That's made his mind up! To be fair, he probably would have still went for the Xbox anyhow, but I think Microsoft have definetly made the right move in changing those things.
It'll be interesting to see how polls change now, if at all?0 -
Neither atm. Probably more tempted by the OUYA than anything else atm.

Will most certainly be moving over to the PS4 although I hate to say it. Just the price really and the fact you would not be able to sell old games. What if you have two consoles in the house, you cant even play the same game/disc on both consoles, stupid really.
Won't be getting it straight away anyway like most have said already.0 -

You've not heard that Microsoft have scrapped some of their policies and the Xbox One will work exactly the same as the 360 does - you can share games by passing the disc about and you can sell/trade without restrictions0 -
I have just read that. That is good news I suppose.
And what people may be forgetting why the Xbox is more expensive is that it comes with the Kinect Sensor. Although it should be an optional extra and scrap this camera rubbish!0 -
I haven't made up my mind yet, definitely won't be getting one on launch, I will wait 6 months-year then I will have more information to decide. My first console was a ps1 followed by ps2, xbox and xbox 360, so I'm not loyal to either. I took a long time deciding between the 360 and ps3 but went for the 360 in the end for the controller, price, games and xbox live.
For the moment though I am leaning towards the ps4 because of the ability to steam ps3 games and there are quite a few ps3 exclusives I have wanted to play.
I haven't played my xbox in a long while and I don't even have live anymore but I just bought tomb raider so will be enjoying that.0 -
Yes I agree with Rhys about the Kinect. M$ have not reneged on the whole "must have the Kinect plugged in at all times" thing though, just the 2nd hand games and connected to the internet every 24 hours clause.
The cynic in me wonders if that was the plan after all...
It's only a game
