Just about to move into a new house, its got some woodchip wallpaper, which I guess it a pain to remove but is there a nack to it?
And also up the stairs its a more textured patterned wallpaper, will this be equally as difficult?
Do the long scraper tools work?

if the woodchip has been painted, and it probably has, then its a good idea to score it before you use either a steamer or water to allow the water/steam to penetrate the paper.
Last year we removed the wallpaper on a house that was at least 3/4 woodchip with copious amounts of paint on top.
For ease we did hire a steamer which worked very well but you dont need to go to the expense if you have the patience with a bucket of water and a scraper....just let the water soak in as much as you can without becoming too wet
It depends what the other textured wallpaper is,something like anaglypta(sp)...the one with tiny foam like bubbles may actually be easier than woodchip and come away from the wall in large pieces...but a lot depends really on what it is and more importantly if its been sealed with a paint on top.frugal October...£41.82 of £40 food shopping spend for the 2 of us!

Having just battled the pain of wood chip wallpaper with paint on top, get a steamer! Having battled it for over 3 hours and not even clearing half a wall, the next 3 hours with a stripper were a dream.
Try without a steamer first, you might be lucky, but you can always get one later.0 -
I just had this done in my house. Easy job. Steam and it'll peel off like magic. There is more to life than increasing its speed.0
