Flash Car Wash System

Hi Moneysavers!
I wonder if anyone has any experience with the new Flash Car Wash system with its autodry facility (ionised water)? I am always a bit dubious about this sort of system but as it is endorsed by What-Car it can't be all bad.
I would also like a heads-up as to the cheapest place to purchase the system as well should I decide to go ahead.
Thanks in advance.

you get around 3 washes after which you need to get shampoo (£4) and another filter when it's fully dirty (£4). A tub of shampoo and a new filter will give you approx 10 washes apparently. I have a really rubbish water pressure in my house and therefore the hose spray is dead weak. I like the idea of it drying, but the jetwash does the same thing and is a bloody site more powerful than my garden hose. Think there a re a few place do it for eighteen odd quid, tempted to try it but twenty quid is a bit of a waste if it is rubbish.0

I prefer a highly waxed car and a blast down the bypass and back at 70 mph to get the water off after a wash.
Don't forget to test your brakes though before you really need them.

I am fairly confident that I read on the packaging that this product had a money back guarantee.
So if you didnt like it you could return it within a given time and get your money back, dont forget to keep the receipt.

Happy washing. Tell us how it goes.0 -
used it twice so far, first time it rained about 30 mins later but was shiny for 30 mins at leats, second time was fine and seemd to have worked till I went through a muddy road the day after. I worked on theory that if it was rubbish I'd reclaim on the guarantee. That said I'm happy that the results are better than a car wash (I would say it's reasonably spot free rather than completely spot free but if you're anal enought o expect it to be completely then I guess you'll be disappointed regardless), plus as it's using sponges it's better for car surface personally, for I'd say £1 or so a wash I'm happy enough with it to keep buying refills0
