How to divide open-plan ground floor

I have an extension which provides the dining and kitchen area on the ground floor. I'd like to partition the area from the lounge sometimes, at the point where the lounge area ends and the diner/kitchen extension begins.

The opening from the end of the lounge area is around 3.5m wide.

What would be a good way of adding a removal partition? Curtains, some kind of folding doors?

You have a problem if you want this to be temporary.

Curtains yes, folding doors yes, but you have the tracks and the doors left at the sides, plus you will struggle to find full height ones that look the part.

Depends really if you can accept some structure that reduces the room width at the point of division.;);)

I've got some of these curtain panels fixed on these kvartal fittings, the rail can be fixed to the ceiling or the wall above. I have them separating the kitchen from the dining room. Used to have curtains but they never looked quite right.
