Recent UK law for Estate Agents

Does anyone know of the recent new law that the government has setup that basically means the Estate Agent should be upfront & tell you all the correct details of a property and surrounding region?
I saw it on the Daily Mail but cannot find it for the life of me??

Are you thinking of the Property Misdescriptions Act? That was passed in 1991, so not really recent.

The Govt proposed repeal of the Properties Misdescriptions Act, with the Consumer Protection Regulations to be applied to EA work on an ongoing basis. I don't know if this is still in proposal or not.
