Am looking to maybe go lanzarote in July, 1st or 2nd week and I always thought the canaries was always hot, but loooked last week and it looked cloudy, and only average temp (24 degrees)
Can I be guaranteed sun in the next few weeks, and a nice warm climate?
Ive been gran canaria before and fuertaventura a coupel of times and it was always hot and sunny, rarely ever any cloud from what i remember?

Bob, is that you?The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.0

you can't be guaranteed the weather anywhere.'Children are not things to be moulded, but are people to be unfolded'0

Before it got popular, I went to Fuertaventura regularly for several years. One year I decided to try nearby Lanzarotte instead (in July.) What a disappointment. Cloud, rain, chilly and crâppy black beaches. To make matters worse, I could see Fuertaventura just across the water, basking in unbroken sunshine.

Try Cape Verde, further south, previously Portuguese colony, easy to get visa on arrival as EU citizen.0

You are not guaranteed sun, however you are almost guaranteed mid to high twenties. Lanzarote is generally less cloudy than Tenerife though, I've found.0

Tha Canaries are known for having year round Spring like weather, they even sell themselves on the basis of it.
A bunch of islands in the Atlantic are always going to take a lot of cooling from the sea compared to what you'd expect for it's latitude.
If you want high Summer temps, you may get them but you'd be better off with mainland Spain for a better chance of really hot.
You can still be fairly confident that the daily highs will be nearer to 30 than 20
For me, the Canaries have a perfect climate0
