Are there any mortgage search websites that would enable me to see what difference length of time in current employment makes to getting a mortgage for a first time buyer?

I'm wondering whether being in current job for six months, one year, 3 years, 5 years, 10 years makes a difference ....

Search comprison sites give you the financials only.

You can go on the lenders websites and look at the different criteria.

Different lenders have different views. Some say continuous employment for 3, 6, 12 months others say the same employer for 3, 6, 12 months.

I've only been in my current job for a couple of years so I was wondering if that would be likely to cause me problems.

Glad to know the criteria is in months rather than years...
