Provisional tax credit award anyone?

I recd my renewal around the 19th April, i posted it straight back. a few weeks previous i had informed them of a change in circumstance as my daughter was diagnosed with aspergers and entitled to disabled childs tax credits.

I have now recd a provisional award for year 12/13.

I have also recd 2 lump sum payments into my bank account.

I then recd a provisional award for year 13/14.

I informed them of a change of bank account and again have recd another provisional award for year 13/14.

Ive recd my nhs excemption card also.

I still have not recd any finalised awards? Anyone got any ideas why? Should i contact them?

It means your renewal has not been processed yet.
They may be checking info behind the scenes.

I renewed 29th had provision award for last year and new year due to change in hours.

When I rang after 4 weeks they said mine had gone to compliance for review of circ and I would have a letter

When I called the compliance they said it was a childcare review.

I have since had letter asking for invoice receipts bank payments

Hope you get sorted mines 6-7 weeks and won't be processed till they done my review.

Not sure why mine is, i don't get childcare as my parents look after my kids!

Ive only changed my bank account details and claimed disabled tax credits for my eldest daughter!

Ive heard nothing since provisional award came on 10/5/13.

Did you still get the lump sum payments? And nhs exemption card?

If its gone to compliance would i ave had a letter by now?

Does your daughter get Disability living allowance of at least mid rate care? As this is what qualifies your child for CTC disability element.

Hi,

Yes she gets mid rate, i informed tax credits of her diagnosis in march! Got a provisional award from them for 12/13.

I completed my renewal in april and recd a provisional award for 12/13 and 13/14. I also changed my bank account.

It says on my provisional award that due to change in circumstances they are reviewing my tax credits for both of these periods!

Not sure what that means? I havent heard anything from them since receiving the provisional awards and they are still paying me etc.
