Vanquis balance transfer

Hi,I made a online application to transfer a outstanding from a Vanquis card to my Barclaycard Platinum.I put the details in the Barclaycard site and it all looks ok.But I have noticed that there appears to be problems posted online regarding BTs from Vanquis.After the BT I will cut up the card and close the A/c.Has anyone got any info regarding this please.

Balance transfers from vanquis to bank of Scotland don't work, I know that for a fact. Others I'm not sure about.Oh, you wee bazza!0

I wonder why that is.Were you given a reason why.As I said Barclaycard appeared to accept my request online.But no reaction from Vanquis so far

The reason I got when I was on the phone to BOS was along the lines of "no they don't let us do it". The lady I spoke to was nice and apologetic but she warned it might not work before she even tried as it seems vanquis are bad for it.Oh, you wee bazza!0

Hello again,I have tried to do it via a Barclaycard online application.Accepted the account numbers ok and updated the Barclays account balance.But don't know if Vanquis have let it go through.
