hi all,
I have a Soundblaster Augidy2 Card on my PC and it's built by dell. Ive had it for about 2 1/2 years. Every time i play something on Media player the volume starts off fine. However if i skip to the middle of the file, wether it be a Film or sound file the sound immediately goes up to what would be the Mediaplayers full volume. If i adjust the Volume on media player it returns to the appropriate volume again. This also occurs when using realplayer etc. Thsi also happend when i'm using sequncing progammes such as MAGIX music maker or cubase.
Any ideas guys? If you need anymore specific info just ask
thanks in advance for any help.

Download the latest Audigy 2 driver from http://uk.europe.creative.com/support/downloads/. Although Creative and Dell say you should use Dell's driver if the sound card came with the machine, in this case Dell haven't updated it for about 3 years so Creative is the only choice to resolve this problem.
Create a system restore point before running the install (which will detect and uninstall the current driver) so you can easily revert to it if the new one doesn't work.0 -
I'll give this ago Chippy. Cheers.0
