This is probably a real claim so do not ignore this. On the claim there should be a mcol link with a password. Go to that link and acknowledge the claim, request additional time to defend this, they should give a further 14 days, and you must defend this in full.

There is nothing to worry about, the small claims is a very informal thing and it will be just you the judge and someone from them. But it's not likely to go that far as this is just another form of intimidation.

You need to register at https://www.pepipoo.com for help with a very strong defence, they will help you step by step so you can understand the process. Please don't panic
When posting a parking issue on MSE do not reveal any information that may enable PPCs to identify you. They DO monitor the forum.
We don't need the following to help you.
Name, Address, PCN Number, Exact Date Of Incident, Date On Invoice, Reg Number, Vehicle Picture, The Time You Entered & Left Car Park, Or The Amount of Time You Overstayed.

Go to pepipoo for help as there's a set format they tend to advise people to do, and part of that is (after acknowledging I think) not rushing to send a defence but seeing first if PE supply Particulars of claim.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
