I've got one of these as I'm planning on buying bunk beds for my daughters next month, and it is buy now, pay in 12 months time (or something like that).
This is a good deal for me as I'm actually looking to buy one big purchase from Argos, but probably won't use the card again as you can only use it in Argos and Homebase.
Just wondered if there was much call for cards like these that can only be used in one or two places? Wouldn't they be better off just giving people loans for one-off items?

I'm guessing they hope you will buy something and then forget you have the card because you aren't using it anywhere else. Or maybe it is just a more fancy in-store loan like you say. It is the same thing really, but I guess the card acts as a kind of advert in your wallet lol.0

I agree with fishing time you are describing their store card NOT their creidt card.
My only advice is to ensure you pay ALL of the balance before the buy now pay later time is up, as if you dont you will be charged interest on the WHOLE amount from the day of purchase.
This applies to all buy now pay later durations 3mths, 6mths or longer, with Argos.0 -
