Best travel sim card recommendations

Hi all,

Can anyone recommend a good sim card for travelling abroad (where you dont pay anything for receiving phone calls) as my current provider (sim4travel) is closing down in august and i just didnt want to go with the company that they are recommending.

Any help or advice would be much appreciated

If you're travelling within the EU it doesn't cost much to receive calls these days, the EU have capped it at around 8-9p per minute.

Some of these "travel SIMs" just move the cost to the caller, eg they use numbers registered in places like Jersey, Isle of Man, Liechtenstein etc which will probably cost a lot more than 8ppm to call. But the caller pays - so could be useful if you don't really want people to call you! Or if you get the PPI w*****rs calling you.

Within those countries calls around Europe about 3p per min.
2.7p if you top up on-line (Excluding Paypal)
