Hoping someone can give me some advice
( 1/2 months ago I purchased a UV gel polish kit including lamp from Millenium Nails ltd using a Groupon.
The lamp has had a couple of issues that I have been unable to get resolved as the customer service from Millenium is atrocious! The lamp suffered complete failure at a clients house last week I had to leave without carryting out the treatment. I contacted Millenium 3 times over the last week and finally got a respose yesterday:
"
The lamps warranty is for 9 months so its out of date we have a special deal on now our UV Lamps are on sale at £49.99."
Needless to say I am more than unimpressed.
Does anyone know if this is legal - I thought all appliances had a 12 month manufacturers warranty.
I contacted Groupon also as I thought as they'd provoded the means for me to purchase this kit they could at least advise me. All got from them was that they had cancelled their contract with Millennium (surprising) and could no longer help me:mad: - again - Can they do this?
Any advice will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance

As you are a business and using the item for business purposes, you won't be covered by a regular consumer warranty.0

Manufacturers aren't required to offer any warranty at all. Your contract is with whoever sold you the lamp (which might be the manufacturer - but they still wouldn't have to offer a warranty).
Since the lamp is for business use, normal consumer protection laws wouldn't apply. If it sticks, force it.
If it breaks, well it wasn't working right anyway.0
