Just to follow up on this, I made a complaint by email to the store that we shopped in, and they've come back to say that they've forwarded my details to the parking company to have the fine retracted! Result!

One store probably won't have the PE contract...more likely the Retail Park Managements.
Assertiveness and persistence can pay - but how do you feel about this harassment by a retail park, against customers? NOT ON IS IT?!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Had a letter through today from Parking Eye confirming that the 'fine' has been cancelled. Thumbs up for Matalan (the store I complained to )

We don't need the following to help you.
Name, Address, PCN Number, Exact Date Of Incident, Date On Invoice, Reg Number, Vehicle Picture, The Time You Entered & Left Car Park, Or The Amount of Time You Overstayed.
