Well done, lets hope the store carries some weight.
I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.

Just to follow up on this, I made a complaint by email to the store that we shopped in, and they've come back to say that they've forwarded my details to the parking company to have the fine retracted! Result!

Many thanks to you all for your help and advice.

Well done - IF and only IF Parking Eye cancel it, so keep that email reply!

One store probably won't have the PE contract...more likely the Retail Park Managements.

Assertiveness and persistence can pay - but how do you feel about this harassment by a retail park, against customers? NOT ON IS IT?!
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

    Surely not another Aldi debacle?
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Had a letter through today from Parking Eye confirming that the 'fine' has been cancelled. Thumbs up for Matalan (the store I complained to ) :)

Good result Jim - but not as we (normally) know it (from PE).

    Well done :T
