Barclays refused my ppi claim please help

Hi I was contacted by barclays saying that I may have been mis sold ppi and did I want to make a claim so I began the process at this point I phoned them and was told I had 5 loans all with ppi going back to mid 90s I also told my mum she should go for it and she did and after 4weeks was paid out on 3 loans going back over the last 15 years. After 2 months I was then asked for proof of sick pay which I used to get and my employer at the time kindly put this in writing and I sent it off. I was then sent a letter refusing any ppi pay out offer and it just related to one loan the last one in 2007 no mention of any of the other loans. Due to issues not directly with my personal credit scoring I was advised the loans would be more likely to be accepted with ppi and was made to feel it wasn't really an option to have a Barclay loan without it as I would prob just get turned down. I just wondered if the other loans are to old to make a claim on or why they only refused me on one. I was told they would group all the loans and deal with them in one go. I feel I was genuinely mis sold ppi and was that much younger at the time and wanted to know if any one had any advice what I should do next or is it a lost cause
