    Santander are usually incompetent or liars, or both. Keep on to them, as they lied to you about their ability to correct the info, so are likely to try it on again.

    So, in the latest development to this ridiculous saga...

    The FOS called me today to tell me that the information had been changed on my Experian report, and that I should check it to make sure.

    Upon checking it, not only has it not been changed, but another monthly status marker was put on there yesterday with an 8.

    I sent a screenshot immediately to the FOS guy who's been dealing with the complaint.

    He did say something rather alarming though 'Well, you can see it's not having that much of an effect on your file - your score is 999, which is excellent!'. REALLY?! REALLY?!

    I had to to explain to him that lenders didn't see that score, and wondered out loud why I can't get mainstream credit (or couldn't until May, when they finally marked the account as settled).
