Please help - late payments registered on Credit File

Im hoping someone could give me some advice.
Last year i bought my current property, but may look to move next year when the mortgage comes to renew.
When i bought the house i already had a credit card (barclaycard) and a virgin card. Back in March i set up a standing order through my bank and for some reason the bank has not sent the payment, and so barclaycard registered a 'late payment'. This was only found out yesterday when i viewed my credit file. I have since spoke to the bank who are willing to write a letter stating it was not my error and was theres.
I have also found out through looking at my credit file that i have a late payment registered for virgin card (dec 2012)(i had paid off the balance and there was outstanding £65 that had not been paid and i had not realised, but as soon as i did, i paid this), and one for my mortgage (i can't remember the reason for this without looking back but was again paid as soon as it had been raised), which obviously does not look good.
There has not been any recent missed payments but i didnt want it to effect my chances of either re-mortgaging or purchasing another property and wanted to know if there was anythign i could do?
