Free Book of economics notes - an update

Earlier I put a free book of economics notes online for anyone to download and use. On May 29 2007 I updated Unit 1 "How markets work", adding diagrams to show the price mechanism in operation. If you downloaded the book earlier you may wish to download again - either the whole book, or just the new four pages that you can slot in.

These notes are teaching notes I used when I tutored for the GCE A-Level, Edexcel Syllabus. I stopped doing this and thought I would turn them into a book. Eventually I came to the conclusion that I was just too busy ever to finish the book and rather than just leave the notes laying around uselessly I have made them freely available to all us money-saving-experts - as well as to the world in general!
