I've ordered and paid for a large outdoor pen for my cats, it's been made and was handed over to the courier last week. They gave me a call last week to say they couldn't deliver until Thursday ( yesterday ) or today and they would phone an hour before delivery. I chose yesterday, but guess what ? Surprise surprise, no phone call and no pen ! :mad:.
I don't have the couriers number to find out what's happening, I don't even know who they are, I've sent the manufacturer of the pen an email and phoned but haven't heard anything back yet.
Seriously !!!!ed off. :mad::mad::mad:

Got a phone call from the pens manufacturer this morning, and he's as livid as I am.
The courier was supposed to phone me and tell me there would be a delay and my pen would be here on Friday, which it wasn't and no phone call either.
He's going to chase them up today and get back to me0 -
These couriers are a law unto themselves.
The main problem seems to be that the person who suffers most is not the one who has the contract with the courier (or the ability to pick said courier).
There must be thousands of people asking Amazon to stop using Yodel* but if Amazon won't listen there's nothing much they can do - apart from stop using Amazon (and I've heard a few people say they've had to do this).
* Although Yodel seem to be fine where I live.There are two types of people in the world: Those that can extrapolate information.0 -
I hope you get your pen very soon. Couriers can be so frustrating.
I hate it when you get given a day but no timeslot during that day - just any time from 7 a.m. till 7 p.m. :mad:
I've only ever had fairly good experiences with Yodel but I think I must be alone with this. I like the lady who delivers from Hermes - if I don't answer the door she hides the parcel in the garden and writes clearly on a card where she has put it.0
