Multiple Entries in Credit Rating

Options
Hi Forum,

I recently checked my credit rating on Experian for the first time since Jan last year when I had a very good rating (>900) and discovered it has moved down to 700 region.

On inspection it seems all of my held accounts, have been held twice on my report. For example my credit card, car PCP, mobile phone bill are all listed twice showing me as having a allowable credit twice what it is and also being currently in debt twice as much as I am (through my car repayments).

All the negative signs on my account are due to this with statements like high level of credit, many credit openings, increased level of debt etc etc etc

Does anybody have any advice on this as I have no idea how to proceed!

Yeah, 1. Don't pay for a stupid number. 2. Contact experian and ask them to investigate the multiple entries. 3. Check CallCredit(Noddle) and Equifax of errors.

Sounds like your address has been searched twice for some reason when generating the report you've received. Lenders will only see one record of each entry. Our customer service will help rectify this for you.

I am an official company representative of Experian. MSE has given permission for me to post in response to queries about the company, so that I can help solve issues. You can see my name on the companies with permission to post list. I am not allowed to tout for business at all. If you believe I am please report it to forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com This does NOT imply any form of approval of my company or its products by MSE"
