GCHQ can track you - if they want to - no matter what you do !!0
-
Your ISP tracks and stores information on everything you do. VPN is the best way to be anonymous.
Even that isn't very secure with ISP's that use DPI (deep packet inspection)
It allows them to intercept the packets of information as they are sent down your connection so they can determine what you are viewing / doing exactly. All your base are belong to us.0 -
:rotfl: and that's been proved with PRISM. OP you'll know if you've been successfully tracked when the GCHQ party van shows up on your drive
They are waiting for you - they KNOW that you have already been asking questions ...
They know EVERYTHING (they have tracked your ip address down and are currently engaged in paying off your ISP to give them your home address) - don't answer your phone tonight, close your curtains, don't switch on your lights - sit there, worrying that the morning may not come soon enough !!0 -
Good luck, I'm behind 7 proxies :rotfl:
They know this and are working their way through them - they are currently up to number 4 - expecting a breakthrough shortly
Watch for your internet connection speed to suddenly dip then recover - at this point, they are aware of every move that you make !!0 -
well try and run this then https://panopticlick.eff.org and press test me button to show how unique you areGood luck, I'm behind 7 proxies :rotfl:0 -
Unfortunately no such thing as privacy on-line. Big brother watches everything.0

No, not for you. As long as you are of some financial value to someone, you will be of interest. But there is such thing as anonymity
Changed my mind to both questions about security and privacy, because the SilkRoad was, and probably is still up and around. But there is such thing as anonymity

3 different but related terms - anonymity vs privacy vs security
You are watching TV, a symphony is about to begin. The camera zooms into the orchestra you can see two members of the group whispering in each others ear. This is privacy.
The light go down and the stage is black, the music is about to start, but someone lets a loud fart rip. This is anonymity.
Light go back on, a member of the group screams and punches the person next to him. We the viewers are safe, the audience probably has nothing to fear, but the people around him.... This is security.

, What's the prize? Move along, nothing to see.0 -
I am apparantly unique among the 2,984,462 tested so far.
Not good news. The Americans definitely know where you live! Can you hear choppers circling yet? Seen that Kim Dotcom video? On the plus side, Guantanamo Bay is lovely this time of year, although the accommodation is a bit cramped
The best I've got is Tails on a vm, booting a live iso, which gives 1 in 14352, but as more use it, this number will drop a bit. Also by dragging my screen to make it wider made me instantly unique
Tor bundle, which I thought would be the best as I would have thought the most common, and as it is so easy to use, gave 1 in 76545
There is a prize for the lowest score - a keep out jail card/freedom
