Hi
We had our very first mortgage with Bristol & west in 1983 when we were told to take out the Ppi. - no choice.
Since then b&w have been taken over by Barclays and the co- op.
We have our mortgage number but am not sure if we have a valid claim and if we did - who to contact.
Any advice / help welcome
Thanks

If you have comprehensive documentary evidence from your own archive as well as valid (and verifiable) mis-selling reasons then there is nothing stopping you putting in a complaint. We had our very first mortgage with Bristol & west in 1983 when we were told to take out the Ppi. - no choice.
But if you expect nothing you won't then be disappointed.0 -

Are you sure it is PPI? In 83 hardly any sold it. It was in absolute infancy. it wasnt even called PPI back then. Was it perhaps MIG or Life assurance? We have our mortgage number but am not sure if we have a valid claim and if we did - who to contact.
What would be your reason for complaint?
