From when I accept an offer to sell my property, how long will everything take?

We accepted an offer on Monday to sell our property how long can everything take? We are going into renting for a few years but we are looking for places now but they do go pretty quick, so not sure if its worth looking yet or not?

    It could take a week or two.

    A month or two.

    Maybe 6 months....

    Peope will come along soon and tell you "It took me X" - but this will not help you in the slightest.

    Or may not happen at all ... offer is just that, "an offer"... anything could happen between now and completion, thats if you get that far!
