Somewhere between Blackpool and Alton Towers

Am taking the kids to Blackpool for a few days then alton towers and looking to book a premier inn type hotel between the two area's but within an hours drive from Alton Towers can anyone suggest an area.

There are quite a few travelodges on or very near M6 services between Blackpool and Alton Towers, like Knutsford services, junction 16 Crewe services etc etc.

You've also got both premier inns and travelodges in Stoke and Uttoxeter, even Derby, for Alton Towers.

I think ive done Blackpool to Alton towers in about a hour . (maybe more) . It s a very straight journey on the motorway to J16 . Preston Brooks decent, a few minutes along the M56 off the M6

The de vere Wychwood park in crewe is nice it's not far from the m6 and a500 and they often have offers on. Usually similar price to travelodge or premier inn but bit nicer and more personal
