Average cost of a Dropped Kerb (Crossover)

Can anyone tell me what the average cost of a Single car Dropped kerb should be, as I think my council are charging too much.. :rolleyes:

The cheapest I could find was £800 give or take...thats in Scotland. They did a fantastic job of it.

Ive been quoted £1099, which seems steep for just one car access

we were quoted about £800 too (Derbyshire). Apparently you need to make sure that the company who does the work are covered with adequate insurance. Presumably as they're working on a public highway.

Not got round to getting it done though....!

It cost a relative £850 several years ago but that was in London and you have to use council approved companies only .......... its an expensive business....
