Thanks for starting this Tealady, i think i will be having a week of using freezer bits up; but i am lacking inspiration this week as i would have normally had my plan done by now ... anyway, i don't want to be hogging the thread all the time, by starting it :rotfl:. I have a few meals wrote down, so will have a look over the weekend and come up with something a bit more concrete.

Late in the game this week, but finally come up with a meal plan

    Freezer

M17 - [STRIKE]Ariabatta, quorn meatballs and stelline[/STRIKE] (as i don't like spaghetti unless wholewheat and have none in :()
(T/W/T on a course, so need to be quick and easy!)
T16 - [STRIKE]LMc Burgers with mushroom melt, chips[/STRIKE] and corn on the cob .... instead had [STRIKE]red onion and cherry tomatoes in balsamic vinegar.[/STRIKE]
    W17 - [STRIKE]Lemon chicken and rice[/STRIKE]
    see Thurs
This will now be tomorrow. I forgot to take this out of the freezer, so instead had [STRIKE]LMc Sweet potato and spinach kievs with balsamic tomatoes and salad[/STRIKE]
T18 - Ratatouille and omelette or Chilli and jacket potato
F19 ( first proper chance in kitchen) so will try something new i have ingredients in for)
Ended up having [STRIKE]Mushroom and asparagus with pasta in a white wine sauce[/STRIKE]
S20 - Depending on what's cooked Friday, will be sticky chilli beef and noodles or gingered beef with spring veg and rice
Turned into baguettes , as we had eaten a big dinner out.
S21 - something with veggie mince ... possibly Moussaka or one pot pasta and red wine dish

Just back from holiday and have no idea what we're going to be eating this week! Will have a look in the freezer and then try to come up with a menu for the next few days until I do a proper shop on Thursday.

Have to pop out to get a few bits today like milk, bread, potatoes & onions plus any bits I need to add to meals.

Will post up later today once I've sorted it out!

It's a short one for me this week, I usually start on a Saturday but it was Peace Festival this weekend so our meals consisted of lots of lovely vegan food for me, and meat based products from the fast food place outside of the festival for OH ;)

Monday We've both got the day off so cheapy W*therspoons meal for breakfast/lunch before we go shopping, then toasties for tea.

Tuesday Butchers faggots, bacon, mash, peas and onion gravy

Wednesday HM lasagne, salad and garlic bread

Thursday HM beef and chorizo stew (from freezer) with mash (sweet potato for me, normal potato for OH)

Friday OH cooking toad in the hole
