S - Breadcrumbed chicken thighs with veg & honey mustard sauce
M - Mediterranean fish stew with bread
T - Paprika Pork with noodles
W - Garlic cheese stuffed chicken breast & roasted tomato sauce
T - Prawn & cashew curry & rice
F - Thai noodle broth
S - Probably a takeaway
Breakfasts - Cereal and fruit bread/toast
Lunches - Usual sandwiches or leftovers, with an additional ready meal given to me by a friend who went on holiday at the weekend and didn't realise the use-by date :beer:0 -
My problem at the moment is not planning lunches... so then I end up buying extra stuff for lunch..

So the plan is:
Monday:
lunch - Quinoa rice and prawn salad (though there is no lettuce)
Dinner - salmon with potato boulongerie (whatever) and veg
Tuesday:
Lunch: Chicken salad (must get lettuce)
Dinner: Proscuitto and pine with spaghetti (need tomatoes)
Weds:
Lunch: Falafel salad
Dinner: Hoppin John (Slimming world vegetarian recipe)
thurs:
Lunch: Prawns and rice salad
Dinner: Turkey stirfry
Fri:
Lunch: dunno yet....
Dinner: Sausages and mash
Sat:
Lunch: Beans on toast
Dinner: Turkey Thatch pie (SW again - like shep pie but much lower fat)
Sun:
Lunch: Bacon sarnie

This will now be tomorrow. I forgot to take this out of the freezer, so instead had [STRIKE]LMc Sweet potato and spinach kievs with balsamic tomatoes and salad[/STRIKE]
T18 - Ratatouille and omelette or Chilli and jacket potato
F19 ( first proper chance in kitchen) so will try something new i have ingredients in for)
Ended up having [STRIKE]Mushroom and asparagus with pasta in a white wine sauce[/STRIKE]
S20 - Depending on what's cooked Friday, will be sticky chilli beef and noodles or gingered beef with spring veg and rice
Turned into baguettes , as we had eaten a big dinner out.

Just back from holiday and have no idea what we're going to be eating this week! Will have a look in the freezer and then try to come up with a menu for the next few days until I do a proper shop on Thursday.
Have to pop out to get a few bits today like milk, bread, potatoes & onions plus any bits I need to add to meals.

M - Pasta bake and salad
T - Jacket pots(baked tonight and warmed up) baked beans and chorizo with cheese I have an appointment until 7
W - Chicken curry, rice and naan (if I can find any in the freezer)
Th - Sausage and chips as out at a concert
F - Omlette, spicy saute pots and peas DH at his brothers overnight
S - At a wedding all day and night
S - Takeaway to feed our hangovers

It's a short one for me this week, I usually start on a Saturday but it was Peace Festival this weekend so our meals consisted of lots of lovely vegan food for me, and meat based products from the fast food place outside of the festival for OH

Monday We've both got the day off so cheapy W*therspoons meal for breakfast/lunch before we go shopping, then toasties for tea.
Tuesday Butchers faggots, bacon, mash, peas and onion gravy
Wednesday HM lasagne, salad and garlic bread
Thursday HM beef and chorizo stew (from freezer) with mash (sweet potato for me, normal potato for OH)
Friday OH cooking toad in the hole0 -
well almost stuck to plan last week
Mon Cheesy bean and rice casserole - yes
Tues Pork in apple sauce, new potatoes and veg - yes
Wed Chicken Maryland - yes
Thurs Sundried tomato pasta - yes
Fri Kids at granddads, us out - yes
Sat HM Turkey burgers and sweet potato wedges - yes but on sunday
Sun Roast Chicken dinner - no, on Saturday did one of the meals for the coming week Sausage and jersey potato bake so have changed it now
This week
Mon Balsalmic tomato and mozzarella pasta
Tues Gigantes Plaki (off a girl called jack, first try but kids love beans based dishes so think it will go down well)
Wed Spag bol & HM garlic bread (DS lactose intolerant so make it lactose free)
Thurs Peanut chicken and noodles
Fri Fish and chips out
Sat visiting family
Sun freezer meals, will be back too late to worry about cooking so we will all choose a HM ready meal before we go to family and they will go in fridge to defrost for sunday0
