I was planning on applying for this card but only had a 1/10 chance with money supermarket. Santander seem to be quite strict with who they lend to.
I got refused a loan last month. I already had a £5000 loan which had 2500 left I wanted to pay that off and take out another for the same amount over the same term. I was surprised the refused considering I'd been there customer for the last 2 years and never missed a payment.
I managed to get a loan with hitachi.
I have now switched to the 123 account as I'm planning on trying for the card in a few months times. It's good to know you got accepted on a 20% chance.0 -
I just got my 123 card delivered today - but it was interested to note that Santander are NOT issuing RFID cards (yet).
Perhaps those not wanting to embrace this technology should apply quickly?0
