    Depends on who it was with, when it was sold, and whether you have any paperwork, or whether there is any paperwork left.

    You can go back as far as there is still evidence. The older the finance, the less chance of there being such evidence unless you have comprehensive documentary proof from your own archive.

    How far back do you want to claim and what evidence of your own do you have?
  • When we wrote to mbna we went back 6 years and when they replied they went back a further 4 years, totalling 10 as they still had the paperwork, very kind of them lol! All depends!
