Help with old default

    A few late payment marker would be accurate. A query or dispute where there was none is not.

    The Qs are better than a late or missed payments as far as a lender would be concerned.

    If the default shows as being settled in dec 2007 it'll disappear from your report in December 2013.

    The default marker itself has been removed, its just the name of the account that states it was from the default department. Howver from what other posters have said, potential creditors won't see the name of the account provider so I'm not too worried about the default now.

    Its the late payment and Q markers which are concerning me more, however from what stclair has said, the Q's are better than the late payments so I will focus on trying to get these removed.

    They won't remove them as the information is factual. A lender is not going to report you have paid when you haven't. Plus a lender will not know what the Q even relates to.
