NPower charging me from closed account

Hi all,

Bought a house back in Nov/12. Took over dual elect./gas from previous owners (on NPower). Basically they messed up big time. Setup one account (never sent me any contract or communication); failed to setup direct debit. Then after numerous calls chasing them up they said they had fixed the problems and setup the account correctly. I have paid everything they had requested then switched to ScottishPower (way way better) back in Feb/13.

Yesterday received through post a reminder for gas and another for electricity. I do not understand why/what they want to charge me now.

Has anyone experienced the same problem?

Can NPower representative look into this?

    You'll need to post an imageof the entire bill (obsure personally identifiable information) if you want anyone here to be able to help you ... otherwise we'll just be guessing.

    Or you could call nPower and ask them to explain the bill to you.
    (or email the nPower rep with your details)

    Or take the bill along to the CAB who should be able to help you understand.

    Did you get a final bill from NPower after the switch as complete? Are the closing readings on that bill the same as the opening readings given to Scottish Power??
