Help on Collingwood Learner Driver Car Insurance

Hi Saver!

Was thinking of getting learner drivers insurance, the price is quite good compared to others its around £55 per month for third party only.

Anyway, has anyone ever used them. If so have you had any problems, and how much did it cost you.

Thanks

Is that to cover a car your going to buy and own? Or someone elses car?

Will they be happy with your 3rd party cover? If you crash it and its your fault or the fault is disputed then they may not get their car fixed.

What will you do when you pass your test and that policy expires? Insurance after you pass could be 3 or 4 times as much.

No, the car belongs to my brother. It costs around £850 at the moment a Fiat Punto Mia 1.2. Also didn't think about if 3rd party cover would be sufficient. Maybe I should go for a higher cover?

Also insurance after I pass still hasn't been taken into mind. But I was thinking of joining my parents insurance or possibly waiting a year for it to come down, just like my brothers did.

Depends if your willing to buy him another car if you crash his and its your fault.

Or if the accident is disputed and his cars not driveable what will you/he do then?

If you have an accident you may get a courtesy car. But you need to check to see if he would be covered to drive it?
