Best form of transfer from Barcelona Airport to Salou

We are flying into Barcelona airport and staying in Salou. Any ideas as to whether a shuttle bus is better than the train and any help with which companies are best to use please?

I would be inclined to take the mini bus as there isn't a direct train from the airport, you would have to get the RENFE across the road from Terminal 2 to Sants Station which by itself is a 19min ride in the opposite direction to where you want to be headed.
