I was asking advice on my circumstances. I have not been focusingon the "number" at all.
Just purely looking for advice on establishing credit and producea positive history for me and with that, to get feedback from anyonewho may have had a similar experience. I'm very aware of savingmoney, and on efficient and effective ways of doing so. I accessedall three to find out exactly what is what. Nothing more, nothingless.
I'm aware of getting the report for £2.00, when speaking to themby phone, I was not whiling to wait until they sent them out. Iwanted to see straight away. However, I do know it is a waste ofmoney. Again, looking for advice of how to best establish credit whenhaving problems on getting any in the first place.0 -

To establish credit!
Not on how to save money, as to what the website name clearly states. However, going through the forum, gives help on various matters apart from "saving money"

You miss the point. You can get all 3 CRA credit reports without a subscription and if you hadn't read the advice on this forum.
In regards to this. I joined this website for advice after going to the 3 CRAs.
I do see your point in this, saving money etc, however, I wasn't asking this and I'm aware of the charges in places and would not be paying for a fee service that wouldn't be used until further notice. I would only require to look at this at a later point in time if I had a reason to do so.0 -
Looking at it from a different angle, your earnings for qualification, age and discipline are extraordinarily high. Is there anything about your firm or your role that would ring alarm bells with lenders? For instance, are you self-employed, reliant on commission income, or does the firm deal in high risk areas?I've got a plan so cunning you could put a tail on it and call it a weasel.0

Yes, because you asked "how come?" and then followed up with repeated posts labouring the point
The advice for people with no credit history is usually to get their first credit card from their bank. Since your own bank apparently won't even offer you an overdraft, I would ask them why. Simples.0 -
Thanks Wobblydeb.
I work for a private insolvency firm. I work, both, as an insolvency practioner and standard accountant (not chartered), currently going to start my training/exams for ACA by my employer.
No high risk, no commission income.
I also was a booker keeper for taxi firm for individual drivers, but due to my employers demands for long hours, I could no longer undertake that position any longer.0 -
And as an aside, why quote a NET annual income rather than gross and why did it take you 6 years rather than 1 to complete a masters degree?0
-
4 years for degree.
1 year out to help my mother.
1 year for my masters.
Don't try to state otherwise.0
