How many digits is a DHL tracking number?

I've received an email attachment of a shipping invoice from a company in Germany. My pc wont display the attachment properly, I've managed to open it via Excel but it's gobbledygook. There are two longs numbers and I'm guessing one of them is the tracking number. It says DHL Europaket before the number but I've tried putting both numbers into the DHL site and it's invalid. One number is 20 digits long, the other 14 digits long. Thanks

Last DHL package I had was 20 digits.

If it's coming up as invalid it might be that it was dispatched too recently for it to have entered the system yet.

Some are shorter. I sent a parcel to the USA and that had ten digits.
