I do not have debts. I am not applying for a loan or have a PPI claim. So why am I pestered everyday by these people who are trying to help me out?
Getting beyond a joke now. I keep asking for them to delete my details and that is not always happening. Today I think 5 calls in all. Anyone please help me out with a solution? Thank you.

Ask the caller if they have Jesus in their life.
If they say "No", then reply with "I can't do business with people who don't have Him in their life" then put phone down.
If they say "Yes" then reply with "Well do you really think He would want you to be doing the Devil's work" then put the phone down.
It probably won't stop the calls, but they may eventually tire of phoning.
BTW I'm also plagued and irritated by PPI, accident and computer error scam calls. If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales0 -
Have you registered with the TPS:
http://www.tpsonline.org.uk/tps/index.html
It significantly reduces the number of unsolicited calls. You do have to wait a little while for it to take affect. If my post hasn't helped you, then don't click the 'Thanks' button!0 -

Registering with TPS won't stop overseas based call centres phoning, and it frequently doesn't stop UK based ones, but it will stop some.If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales0 -

The Telephone Preference Service does help a bit, but does not eliminate such calls altogether. I suspect that many companies do not take the TPS seriously. When I get the call about PPI, I usually tell them I've never bought it, but would be interested in PPCI if they knew of any provider that sold it. This generally causes confusion and for those who ask what PPCI is, I tell them it stands for "Pesky Phone Call Insurance".
My biggest bugbear is when someone from a completely different time zone rings you from somewhere on the other side of the planet... at say 7 o'clock on a Sunday morning. On those occasions I feel compelled to broaden the caller's knowledge of the English vocabulary with a few choice words that are never uttered in polite conversation!0 -
Is it Nev's lot calling you?"You were only supposed to blow the bl**dy doors off!!"0

Ask them where they got your details from they should tell you once you have this information phone up the company who gave them your details and tell them to stop and take your number off their database.I did that and they stopped and then I blocked their numbers in case they phoned but they haven't.0

TPS worked for me initially, about 10 years ago, but nowadays companies seem to ignore it or are calling from abroad.
Which? are trying to do something about it http://www.which.co.uk/campaigns/nuisance-calls-and-texts/?intcmp=contentpanel3campaignnuisancecallsjune110 -
Make sure that you don't give your ph no out if you don't have to.
Sometimes if you are doing something online - purchases, etc they may ask for a ph no (I have an old mobile and sim for this). Make sure that you tick or untick any boxes for future contact or sharing details with 3rd parties.0
