Legoland experiences

We are going to legoland next month. We have been once before a few years ago (before son started school), the day we went we were very lucky the park was extremely quiet all the staff commented on it, a lot of the rides we waked straight onto and even the most popular ones we only waited 20 mins max, the longest queue we saw was 45 mins for the boats and decided that was too long to wait so went back later when it was a lot shorter.

I am concerned that this time we will be disappointed as we had such a good time the last time. I would rather be prepared and just wondered what other peoples experiences are, How long were the queues when you went? Does anyone know what the average waiting time is? Is it worth buying a q bot and in what circumstances? I could only afford the basic £15 ones so just wondered if they are worth it seeing as there are more expensive ones others will have?

Also any tips on getting the best out of the day when it is busy. I have heard to start at the back of the park is better and work your way to the front.

Many Thanks

Check the opening times of the rides. Some do say it is better to work from the back to front but I've found that the rollercoasters often don't open until 11am.

If your little one(s) want to go on the driving school then do that first - the queues for it always seem horrific.
