Opportunity at work

I work for a large furniture retailer and have the opportunity to speak to the CEO with ideas on how to improve the business.
I was curious to see if anybody had any ideas they could think off which could help improve.

Where massive on customer service at the minute so it may well have an impact for customers if it's a great idea!

Cheers!

Stop pretending that everything is on sale for a limited period only when it is actually being sold at the usual selling price?

Stop offering four years interest free credit which actually encourages people to spend more than they can afford?

Stop spending so much on advertising and reduce your prices instead?

I realise that there is more than one "large furniture retailer" but most adopt similar practices.

Just giving people the opportunity to present an idea that might help, and free credit is great it means you can put the money in an isa instead ;)

If we knew who you worked for I am sure we would have already presented ideas to the company if we had something to say

Don't you need to have a few grand for an ISA? If you had a few grand surely you'd not be getting interest free furniture?

Good news is we do at our store, I sell less but at least my conscience is clear that my customers are getting what they want without getting battered into a corner

    Erm no ta

Seriously if you are after promotion and are that good you would have ALL the ideas ready to tell the CEO and they will love you for it.

One thing I cant stand is people who take all the ideas and pretend they are their own to better themselves

Rather than spending £1800 on furniture you can put the money in an isa and earn interest and just pay a minimum amount each month, it's what I did when we bought ours.
