Ebay customer services are making me sick !!

I am fumming at ebay customer services! After weeks of complaining to them about a scam merchant ( electronics*avenue ) who not only attempted to rip me off , never supplies my goods AND was trying to blackmail me. They come back with yet another poxy reply. This time into my complaint that he refunded my money, then filed a non bidders strike against me straight away in an attempt to blackmail me. He says he will process the strike if I done remove my feedback !
Ebays paltry response -
" In this situation, as the transaction has not been completed the seller
has filed the unpaid item dispute in order to get a refund of the final
value fees he has paid to eBay (this is an automated process that is
completed by the seller without interaction with eBay). In this
situation, i suggest that you contact the seller and arrange for the
dispute to be ended by Mutual withdrawl (this way the seller gets his
refund and you do not receive any negative mark against your account).
As long as you reply to the seller within 7 days, indicating
that you have both agreed not to complete the transaction, no negative
mark will be left on any account."

What planet are they on ??? From this they are totally backing up his actions and suggesting that I should get a strike. Why should he get his fees back , he refused to refund me when I asked for three weeks, even when I did a chargeback. Yet ebay want to refund blackmailling, scamming a*** seller and give strikes to innoncent buyers. Who is worse the sellers who rip us off or Ebay who assist them .

I have been ripped off a couple of times on Ebay. The first time I left a negative because not only did I not receive the goods but the seller also said it was my own fault I didn't receive them and that he couldn't remember posting them (what planet is he on???) ! Being new, didn't realise he could leave a negative in retaliation! He also sent me a nasty email saying that he had left me a negative and that it was useless me asking for a mutual withdrawal of the negs because he would refuse! Looking at his replies to other negative feedbacks I think he's off his head quite frankly. I don't know if it is allowed otherwise I would put his user name here for you to look him up.

I went through all the channels through Ebay, not because I was bothered about getting my £13 back off him but because in principle he deserved Ebay to do something. Ebay weren't interested in the slightest. I even filled in a form and sent it to Ebay in Germany telling them about this guy and got no reply.

The moral of these stories is to read feedback, be as careful as possible and don't expect any help whatsoever from Ebay when things go wrong!

Thanks it is a part of principle on my part too. And hey you can post his ID here as you are alloweed to, so we can all have a look. There was no real bad feeback for this guy when I bought it, and he is doing his best to make sure people are to scared to leave any either.

    electronics*avenue is now NARU!

So has something happened for this result? or maybe your complaints combined with others have done the trick!

Its BRILLIANT isnt it ?? Still ebay complaints sevice is trash !! I got emails from other buyer who had been getting abuse from him and we were all delighted ! He sent me another email after it but saying " he knew where I stayed "!
But I dont care somehow he was found out ( i reported like crazy ) .The only problem now is a lot of people have chargebacks in the process, plus people who were negged are having problems getting it removed. Not to mention the people who have lost their money which could have been prevented if ebay had acted sooner.
I am still disappointed that scam sellers got away with so much. But hey people power one this time !
