HELP with sickness insurance quote and health issues

Hi,
I'm tying myself in knots over this so would appreciate any help.
I have been quoted £60 a month for accident and sickness mortgage cover. I already have critical illness cover which costs £60 a month.
I was thinking of applying but one of the questions asked about back and joint symptoms. In January I saw an osteopath about general back pain and since then I have developed some hip pain and stiffness. I haven't seen a GP about either. My financial advisor says that I have to declare these symptoms even though it is not in my medical records, especially if I decide to go to my GP later and the GP asks about when the symptoms started.
What do I do? I could wait and see what happens with the symptoms and apply later, or be honest and apply now, or not mention it as I haven't seen my GP? What if I don't apply and I'm diagnosed with something bad? Would i be uninsurable? HELP!

Yes you need to declare them, which is why your advisor has told you to.
Why would you want to risk buying insurance which might be worthless?0
