Vent: Jean Patrique - in general but specifically ignoring Unsubscribe requests

Having been a complete idiot in the past and actually buying some of this pond-life's utter crap product (and fighting a lengthy battle over returns & refunds) my latest moan is getting myself taken off their email list.
I have used the UNSUBSCRIBE option several times over in the past AND phoned them AND written to them but they keep sending me emails. The latest missive doesn't even have an UNSUBSCRIBE option which I am pretty sure breaks a regulatory requirement somewhere.
Yes I know I can just delete the emails or add them to my Junk senders list all of which I do but it doesn't stop them coming. Besides which I want them to know that I'm not interested in their bilge.
Any ideas?

given this is an email issue might be worth asking on the techie thread?Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily Dickinson

I don't have a technical issue with the email, I have a legal issue with the company sending the email.£2 Savers Club 2016 #21 £14/£250

I know that; but thus far they have continued to send email.
Maybe the techies know how to stop spam e mail. If the emails started going back to them undelivered then maybe that will stop the company sending them, hence my suggestion you ask the techies. This part of the forum is for praising and venting - not usually for asking for help IYSWIM.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

I don't think this is a techy query - it's a consumer rights one. OP, report them to the ICO. Tell them you're doing so. Probably won't help much but you never know."Growth for growth's sake is the ideology of the cancer cell" - Edward Abbey.0

Thanks for the suggestion. I'm also having a mini vent about their non-compliance with direct marketing regulations. Plus they are a contemptible company to deal with and if I can prevent just one MSE person falling for one of their scams then it will be worth it.£2 Savers Club 2016 #21 £14/£250

Thanks. I noted that:
"The court found in his favour and ordered Jean Patrique, which never replied to any of the court correspondence or letters from Mr Higgins, to pay £750 in compensation and £60 in court costs."
Wonder if they'll pay up?£2 Savers Club 2016 #21 £14/£250
