No it was a brand new till spit I'd just got. Im sitting outside the store now wondering whether to try again lol. Was yours at Mterocentre? x
Edit - tried again with another till spit and no joy. Never mind I didn't really want tons of no7 stuff for pennies anyway!*cry*

Don't know how I missed this thread for so long!
I have just tried this at MetroCentre and the ss till would not scan the ss voucher. I think somebody else has already mentioned this - its almost like the tills are set up to not accept them
maybe its a dodgy ss till? did you try the tillspit at another ss till?0 -
There is a new gwp coming out :-) and this will overlap with the vouchers for the last 4 days... So wel be able to get loads if they haven't sorted the glitch by then ;-)
I wouldn't be surprised if this current round of 342 and bogohp on No7 stops at store closing time on Tuesday 9th July - that would be the end of the 4-week run.0 -

Yeah i tried 2 different till spits on 2 ss tills. Only glossies would scan0 -
are the glossies still being given out? I bought 3 x tinted moisturisers, 1 x primer & some shampoo yesterday & didn't get a voucher back - I thought they must have stopped giving them out.
I don't think it was deliberate if they're still in use though as she was a lovely SA - I thought I had a voucher for points with an over £25 spend but thought with the glossies, it would bring it down to less - she told me to let her have it & she'd try to use it before she took off the £8. Unfortunately, it was for a £35 spend & after the discount vouchers were taken off my haul only came to £17ish - still pleased though.
Such a shame we dont have the SS tills!0 -

I think the problem is with the quality of the print of the bar code ( I was at M3tro C3ntr£ yesterday). As I said yesterday the till spits I had from a different shop scanned straightaway but the ones from this shop didn't work. The tills accept the clearly printed ones so they haven't been set to refuse them.
The problem is when they don't scan you either have to walk away and leave everything or pay for your goods only using the glossies!!:(
I used the SS till on the far left - which ones did you use (I think they are 4 in total)0 -

it usually says something on your receipt about a voucher, if you should have one. I'd have thought as ss tillspits are still being produced, you should have got a glossy. I'd have gone back to her, or taken my receipt to another cashier, to ask for the glossy.0 -

I used the second from the right and far left ss tills. I think you are right about how they are printed, both till spits I tried have slightly faded vertical lines down them. SA came over the help me and when I said the till wouldn't scan the till spit she went and got me a glossy...I couldn't very well say no thanks so I ended up without the extra £8 discount0
