  • I have 2 ss tillspits so thought I'd do 2 transactions at manned tills to get 2 glossys to use (I'd like do get a couple of lipsticks), but horror of horrors, they have run out of glossy's !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I wanted to cry ! This is Reading Oracle branch. The SA said they might get some more later in week, but they would be happy to take the relevant amount off anything I wanted to purchase. How could I tell her that I wanted a glossy so I could do glitch and get either bronzer/BB cream/tinted moisturiser and lipstick and only pay 25p for both. Do you think they have really run out of glossys or have Reading Oracle branch 'sussed' the glitch and are no longer giving out vouchers (or am I just being paranoid). I'd be interested to hear if any other stores have 'run out' of glossys.

They have probably run out. One of the ladies I work with does a couple of hours early morning shift at one of the local Boots, and she said they ran out early last week. BUT, good news is that they were restocked by the end of last week (so Reading will probably be restocked soon enough).

Judging by the low stock levels of the tinted moisturiser in the Eastbourne branch, I am not the only one taking advantage of this offer here :)

Just risked trying again at a different store with one BB cream, one bronzer and one tinted moisturiser and again, no go! The SA said that one thing had to be skincare and when I said that the tinted moisturiser surely had to be skincare, was told that No 7 makeup was a different section to skincare and definitely tinted moisturiser was classed at makeup. Anyway, I got day cream along with the tinted moisturiser and bronzer but I really wanted the BB cream and it cost me £10.25! Also, I could not find my Boots adv card so hope I didn't leave it the other day in the Preston store! I might ring and check or should I just ring Customer Services?

asset2004, not sure why it didn't work for you. Try again with a different combo.

miracles do happen...I found a shiny voucher in my local store since I also had a SS voucher it would be rude not to use them

    I bought:

    2 x bronzing pearls, £9.95 each

    1 x No7 night cream, £9.95

Had to grab something else to cover up the negative balance of £1.08

may the glitch continue for a little longer

I also got a free lip balm from the bodyshop and a free book from WHS with my priority moments code :)

great minds Sally - thats exactly what is on my list for my next glossy/tillspit spend (first of this time round, I bought loads of stuff in May ;)).

I used the 200 extra points coupon from the May/June magazine today so it definitely works and bases the £20 on the original spend. There was also a 100 points ACM voucher for the Stay Perfect mascara.

I really need some No 7 Anti Spot SPF 30 http://www.boots.com/en/No7-Anti-Dark-Spot-Facial-Sun-Protection-SPF30-50ml_1259407/

Any idea how I can incorporate this for maximum discount? 1 or more would be great!

By the way I just did 2 x BB Creams and a bronzer for £3.42!! I topped it up so that I got another SS voucher.

    Thanks so much all!! :j

Well I did a proper shop today, buying bits and bobs from boots and no7 which were running out... Kind SA saw I was buying no7 and offered me a voucher before I'd even begun! Then she took them both off, then my 300 points (I spent more than £30), then 100 points when you buy mascara, then a half price mascara, then a double points coupon, then she asked if I wanted to use the ss spit! It went down from £58 to £32... She looked amazed and eager to see if she ever gets a transaction to "beat it".

Amazed as this was a shop where I wasnt using the glitch, just stocking up... She even asked how many glossies I would like - I asked for three :)

    Nice!

You don't need to top it up, at least not at the ss tills, I haven't been topping up and I've been getting vouchers from £1.25 shops :D

For the anti dark spot you will need to buy two BB creams at £12.95 then the spf cream for £12, you will then pay £3.42 for all three.

The skincare only item i.e. the spf cream always needs to be the cheapest item of the three, the first two have to be glitch products, hth.

Although personally I would say the Soltan Once spf 30 is better if you plan to wear it under make-up as it doesn't need reapplying for 8 hours!

Thanks for that! Yes its to wear under make up, I will look at the Soltan Once, have you tried it under makeup?

....Wow I just got a glossy voucher from my work mate to use with my ss voucher. So I don't need to go and spend £4!!

I've been asking friends if they want me to do their boots shopping so I can keep their vouchers lol!

Yes I wear it under make-up, I was previously using the normal soltan spf50 until someone told me it was no good as you need to apply it every 2 hours, the Once stuff stays on your skin for up to 8 so no reapplying!

It's my fave summer moisturiser as it makes my skin look so nice I often don't bother with make-up at all, except for maybe a bit of primer to stop my nose shining! If you're worried about pigmentation and want to wear it under make-up then you really do need a long lasting one, it's no good if it only stays on your skin for 2 hours, I wish I'd known before this year!
