Hi All, I hope you can help.
I received a private parking notice last July before the new regulations came in . Signs were visible but there were no pay and display machines in the care park to obtain a ticket. As it was a private ticket I chose to ignore it rather than enter into correspondence. I received a few letters in the beginning but nothing since December. I then started receiving threatening letters approx. three weeks ago from PS&P saying they were going to send in the bailiffs. They are now demanding £116.00. Should I continue to ignore this?

This joke of a company are well known on here. They are lying when they say they will "send bailiffs". I think they mean a "doorstep collection agent", in other words a powerless debt collector. Even though they threaten this, it never happens. If by a remote chance they do turn up to collect your doorstep, tell them to "go away" (choose your own words!) or you will call the police. What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0

No ticket machines :rotfl: These companies really do take the p*ss.
Best of luck with this, however you decide to deal with it.0 -

As this is an old one, ignore the whole scam and only take seriously real small claim papers of course (so do open each threatogram to make sure it's just another letter from the scammers or their debt collector). Keep them all just in case but relax as the letter-chain will be near the end now.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
