in Credit cards
This might be a daft question but I got a vanquis card recently to help build up my credit rating. I spend about £30 p/month maximum on it and pay it off the day or day after the statement is produced - I take it this will still count as a positive or should I leave some kind of time gap between statement and payment?
I'm not looking for them to increase my limit so I'm not at all concerned about what vanquis think about it - I'm just hoping I'm doing the right thing by my (shot to pieces) credit file.

As long as you pay after the statement and before the due date, you can do whatever suits you.0

It does. Would it not be simpler just to pay it in full by a Direct Debit? This might be a daft question but I got a vanquis card recently to help build up my credit rating. Could be but I get paid weekly so I find it easier to pay it manually. I get constant text updates from them anyway so they don't let me forget if I tried! My Debt Free Diary
