solar panels fitted help please

ive had solar pannels fitted in, during day time when i turn on my iron or washing machine my meter is showing that its going through my electricty company n not through the pannels, can anyone please advice me

    There are a couple which are not compatible with solar
    Siemens S2AS-100/ Siemens S1AS-100 Meters

    An electric iron consumes around 2000 watts , solar panels will generate around 250 watts per panel when the sun shines. So you would need 8 in ideal conditions to run your iron.

    OP could you describe your system.
