Can cashback be received with same company?

Basically my fixed rate tariff has finished and I was checking all the cashback sites to see which the best one was. One of the tariffs is with Scottish Power who I already am a customer with. If i switched on a cashback switching site, does anyone know if I would still get the cashback being as i am not a new customer?

You would need to switch away, then switch back.
Some restrict cashback to people that haven't had 'recent' cash back from the same supplier - I am waiting on confirmation of what this means in the case of npower.0
