ir Excel Parking Charge - Appeal or Ignore

Hi,
I've just recieved a 'Parking Charge Notice' from Excel Parking for the 'Privaetly operated car park' at the Imperial War Museum North in Manchester.
The camera pics show my girlfriend driving into the acr park at 09:55 to drop me off for work at the BBC (the access bridge is through the foot gate on the other side of the car park from the road entrance) and then the second pic is of her leaving again at 18:01 with me at the end of my shift. She left after dropping me off and went home for the day, returned just before 6 to pick me up. We do this every day almost and never had a ticket before. They wan't £60 now or £100 if i delay over 14 days.
I'm not paying as it's an obvious error by their system - not my fault at all. So, should I appeal or ignore?
Thanks in advance for your advice.

You challenge it just like on every other thread exposing a 'first in last out' PPC camera scam. See post #40 here for an amusing approach to appealing such a con
:D:
https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/4488337
and here we have MET parking 'outed' for the exact scam you describe:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fbbZtxzrJAI
and Excel have been exposed on programmes and threads for similar 'errors':
http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p00zkz1k/features/private-parking
and they were banned only a few months ago by the DVLA (temporarily) so that's the sort of firm you have demanding money from you. Don't ignore the scam.
So you just challenge it on whatever basis you want (radioactive spiders and all!) but best not to say who was driving, just write the whole short challenge in the third person and say 'the driver visited the car park twice so there was no breach of terms. It seems that your camera operatives have selectively chosen the first and last pictures which, I have since found, is something the private parking industry are notorious for and should have eradicated.' I would be happy to let POPLA see my evidence of your selective 'evidence' for this unfair 'charge' so send me a POPLA code if not cancelling your fake PCN.'
And if they reject that appeal then you can just win it at POPLA with forum help, like Parking Prankster did with his similar scam fake PCN. At POPLA stage, DO NOT word the challenge like that short challenge I have suggested for the scumbags.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
