Document storage

in Budgeting & bank accounts
Can anyone recommend a Bank/Building society or other organisation that provides safe document storage. I just want to store some house deeds.

I've had a look around the forums and cannot find anything that relates to this already but please point me to such post if they already exist.

    Metrobank offer safe deposit boxes, though all there branches are in London which might be a problem.

    Do you actually need to have the paper deeds any more, (if they relate to UK property at least)? http://www.landregistry.gov.uk/public/faqs/where-are-my-deeds-kept

    There are a few banks that do offer safety deposit boxes but many are fully subscribed with waiting lists, from my limited experience.

    It really is just a case of contacting local branches convenient for you and seeing (a) do they offer it and (b) is there any space

    I know Natwest offer this service, as my mums housedeeds are with them, but she does have to pay for the service.
